Over the course of, and by the end of the story, Rapunzel gets married (at 18), rediscovers her (white) people and family, enjoys the Medieval, European culture and realm she is lady of, mother Gothel is exposed and destroyed, and peace and social cohesion flourish in the Kingdom of Corona love and happiness to the hearts of Rapunzel, the royal family and their kingdom. The two make a deal that involves Rider taking Rapunzel to see the lanterns up close and the adventure ensues as mother Gothel and the law pursue the duo. Mother Gothel still refuses to let Rapunzel leave, rekindling her fear of the world outside the tower, due to the “plague” being out there, and that “mother knows best”A serious wrench is thrown into Mother Gothel’s plans when handsome rogue, Eugene “Flynn” Rider hides from the law in Rapunzel’s tower while Gothel is away. Lanterns which Rapunzel desires to see for herself on her 18th birthday instead of just watching from the safety of the tower like every other year. Her parents and subjects miss the princess dearly, and every year on her birthday, they launch lanterns in memorial. Disney, of course, took it up a notch and made Rapunzel a frying-pan-wielding adventurer with healing hair who desires to leave the tower her mother has placed her in “to protect her”.“For your safety, goy.”A “Quarantine”, one might say. However, big-nosed Mother Gothel is not actually Rapunzel’s mom, and Rapunzel is actually an Aryan princess of the Kingdom of Corona, kidnapped and raised among a world of lies constructed by Gothel, out of pure vanity, greed and jealousy.
